Some folks argue that the power of congress to “provide for the common defense” justifies free universal healthcare. “What’s the difference if you’re killed by an invader’s bullet or a virus?” We should remind everyone making this argument, however, that there are not two armies, one to protect the people and a better one to protect congress.
